'The Manger'

Luke 2:7 (KJV1611)
'And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.'

Bible VS Tradition trivia:
Tradition would have us believe that 3 wise men visited Jesus on the night of his birth, but this does not line up with account given in Matthew chapter 2.
Matthew Chapter 2 reveals an unnumbered amount of wisemen arrived in Jerusalem, possibly as much as 2 years after the birth of Christ in Bethelehem.
Biblically the only ones who visited Jesus were the shepherds the angels announced his birth to (Luke 2).
At the time the wise men came, Joseph, Mary, and Jesus are living in a house in Bethelehem (whether it is Joseph's or one of his relative's is never revealed).

Based on scripture, I believe that the star the wise men saw appeared on the night of Jesus' birth, and it took at the most 2 years for these men to get to Jerusalem, and later Bethelehem.
