Had this idea in the back of my head to come up with new official designs for all the Legends of Aeluria that have been created so far. Some of the characters exist only on paper or in my mind, and are in desperate need of a physical form.
This is the second of
's characters she created for me.
Originally she created him as a lynx, but I suggested changing him to a cougar.

Mountain lions are one of the few exclusive species of Feloria, spawning from a branch of the cat species that immigrated to the mountains and deserts of the region.
In the mountains and coastal range, this species is known by others as puma, in the desert plains of the Tzavo, they are called cougars. the race in whole calls themselves tla-da-tsi.
The difference is in name only, as all mountain lions share one culture, except for those like Levi, who have become separate from their culture.

Growing up an orphan, he had no family name to call his own, aside from the friends he made in the village, but because his silent nature and piercing stare, people began to call him dragon eyes, And so, he adopted Ben Tannin, or 'Son of the Dragon' as his surname.
Out of all of the Seven Sons of Verganza, Levi is probably the most tortured soul of all of them.
His mind and conscience is constantly plagued with the memories of what happened to him while enslaved by the Orionite Cult. He was whipped, beaten, molested, and had his will nearly broken by his captors.
These memories build up on occasion, and to get away from those nightmares, Levi will physically cut himself, to 'release the pain' as he would put it.
One mistake people learn quickly is that he doesn't like to be touched in any manner, having become quite sensitive to the slightest pressure on his body.
Levi speaks only when he feels the need to, spending most of his time quietly observing others with almost studious precision.
As a fighter, he is a master with a vast variety of pole weapons, be it spear, trident, scythe, halberd, or quarterstaff.
Unlike others of his trade, Levi prefers to wear very little armor, giving himself the appearance of a common peasant or a servant among his more militarized comrades.
